Deb Louie Machine Magic Decorative Stitch Applique Master Class

  • Wacky Jacky's Textiles Jalan Raya Candidasa Bali Indonesia (map)

AN APPLIQUE MASTERCLASS BY THE RENOWNED ARTIST HERSELF

A fully-guided tour with Deb Louie, the decorative quilt artist, as your tutor and Jacky Wyatt from Wacky Jacky’s Textiles as your host.

Deb Louie is passionate about quilt. She has shared her love of domestic machine quilting through comprehensive class and books, and inspiring textile art projects.

And this time, it is your time to enjoy Deb’s unique machine decorative stitch applique techniques.

Learn the difference between layered applique and stacked applique flowers while using the beautiful decorative stitches on your sewing machine.

Play with the family of flowers to create your own composition for a cushion or medallion centre for a quilt.

The outside edge is sketch free motion appliqued with vines of bias or machine chain stitched.

You will be using Wacky Jacky’s sewing machines, but the aim is to teach you to move outside your square when it comes to using domestic sewing machines, and utilizing the stitches available on your machines at home.

This is a fun retreat where you will learn lots of new techniques.

Our 2022 Brisbane retreat with Deb Louie was selling faster than hot cakes, so don’t miss out to get knowledge from the best while enjoying Bali!
